Visit Spectrum Gallery on Lake Michigan and you will be greeted by one of our artists, inspired by the unique artwork in all media (for all pocketbooks as well) and charmed by the DeKoven Center’s Neo-English Gothic architecture and vistas. Enjoy strolling the spacious galleries, “The Lake Room,” “Rainbow Room,” “Louvre on the Lake” (painted in a deep color like many of the famous museum’s walls in Paris), and hallways and you will soon realize that Spectrum encourages and celebrates the individual creativity of each artist. You will even find excellent black and white artwork in the “Porcelain Gallery” (bathroom). In the tradition of Mary Cassatt and Robert Henri, Spectrum Gallery does not rely on juries or contests to show the public “good art,” but empowers artists to choose their own artwork for exhibition. Spectrum Gallery has been a vital part of the community since 1995.
